We all experience times of trial and difficulties in our lives, sometimes, it seems as though we will never feel happy again. By choosing counseling, you invest in yourself, change your way of thinking, and begin a new journey towards healing. Through our collaborative relationship, you and I will work together to incorporate therapeutic interventions and models proven to alleviate the symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. My approach to counseling is eclectic and geared towards your individual needs. I utilize holistic techniques that incorporate your mind, body, and spirit. As a trained Christian counselor, I can help you develop new practices to support your faith formation and spiritual health.

I am married to a first responder and received training in first responder mental health and wellness through the National Emergency Responder Safety Center. As a result, I am uniquely qualified to assist first responders experiencing trauma, relationship issues, and career challenges.

I know and understand the challenges parents face and that “one size fits all” parenting techniques don’t always work. I am a trained facilitator for Positive Solutions for Families, a research-based program that provides practical solutions for everyday parenting issues. I can help parents recognize and analyze challenging behavior, learn about their child’s development, create consistency, model appropriate behavior, communicate expectations, end power struggles, and much more! My goal is to help families face challenges with practical strategies to experience greater peace in their family life.

I am a Colorado native and love spending time in nature with my husband, four children, and Goldendoodle. I enjoy crocheting, making art, and watching my kids participate in their many activities.

I work with all individuals, children (ages six and up), teens, families, and couples.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I am trained in Christian counseling techniques and will work with you to support your beliefs. I have additional training as a Grief Share Leader, in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR).
