Kim has her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Colorado University. She has worked for over 5 years in a variety of counseling settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families in residential treatment facilities. She understands how stress affects relationships and other areas in life. She helps people with parenting skills, communication skills, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress reduction, and children affected by trauma.
Kim approaches individuals from a whole-person perspective: examining their past and present situations and taking into account how these are affecting their emotional, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions in their lives. She motivates her clients towards productive communication and healthy boundaries within their relationships. Kim’s ability to connect with people empowers and encourages her clients to resolve conflict and move toward desired change in their lives.
Kim also has a certificate in Life Coach Training and utilizes these skills in counseling. She is compassionate about engaging and supporting individuals alongside their journeys of life. Kim and her husband of 15 years have 2 children and reside in Littleton, Colorado.
